FC 27 Companion is now listed in the US App Store and Google Play. As of September 18, the US iOS listing shows version 27.0.0, and the US English Google Play page names FC 27 in its title and update notes. Store availability does not guarantee that your EA Account qualifies for access.
How do you update from FC 26?
Open the official store listing above on your phone and use its update option if offered. The existing Companion listing has changed to FC 27; you do not need to find a separate third-party installer. Apple’s listing requires iOS 15.0 or later on iPhone and iPadOS 15.0 or later on iPad.
If you still see FC 26, check the version history in your local store. The US listings do not establish availability for every country or device. Google Play’s displayed update date is August 28, so that field should not be read as the September service-opening date.
What was the announced release time?
EA’s September 14 Launch Update scheduled the mobile refresh for September 17, 2026, at 17:00 UTC. These local conversions describe that announcement, not a measured rollout time.

Which app and account should you use?
Start at EA’s official Companion page for the browser link and mobile download. The Web App manages your Ultimate Team in a browser; Companion provides mobile access on iOS and Android. Sign in with the same EA Account you use for FC, as explained in EA’s access guide.
Use the store links from EA rather than a search advert or a third-party download.
Who qualifies for early access?
EA’s eligibility guide requires an existing account in good standing and an Ultimate Team club created on your platform in FC 26, FC 25 or FC 24 before August 1, 2026. Eligibility depends on the most recent title you played. Installing the app alone does not meet those requirements.
App access and Transfer Market access are separate checks. EA’s market-access help has its own prior-access requirements and says support cannot grant access or guarantee when it will unlock. Follow the message shown for your account; do not assume a successful login unlocks every function.
What if the wrong club or a login error appears?
- Confirm the account first. Follow EA’s account-email instructions. On EA’s login page you can use an already-linked platform sign-in, then view the partially displayed email under account management.
- Recover access if necessary. Use EA’s recovery guide for a lost password, inaccessible email or failed verification. Keep recovery codes private.
- Read the exact access message. An eligibility restriction needs a different response from a page that fails to load. For loading problems, use our app troubleshooting steps and service-status checks.
